American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter – Short Term Assignment June 1-5 | Everett, WA | 2025–2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time ASL Interpreter for a short term assignment at a school district in Everett, WA. This is an in-person position working with a great and supportive school district. Job Highlights:

Location: Everett, WA
Position: ASL Interpreter for a middle school theatre production for hard of hearing student - 1 week assignment, part time
Schedule: 1 week assignment; June 1-4 from 3-5:30pm; June 5 from 1:30-4 pm and 5-7pm (14.5 total hours)
In-person only

Qualifications:

EIPA score of 3.5 or higher and passing the written performance test
EIPA scores of <3.5 may also be considered
Fingerprinting required prior to start
School-based experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 interpretation for a student throughout the school day
Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and staff
Support access to curriculum and social interactions in the classroom
Collaborate with the student’s educational team
