We are seeking a skilled Kinyarwanda Interpreter to facilitate clear and accurate communication across diverse settings. Responsibilities
- Provide accurate oral and written interpretation between Kinyarwanda and English in various settings.
- Facilitate communication for individuals with limited English proficiency, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times during interpretation sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve interpretation processes and address any communication barriers effectively.
Requirements
- Multilingual proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in interpretation, particularly in professional or community settings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey messages accurately and empathetically.
- Bilingual capabilities with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and interpret across various topics such as healthcare, legal matters, or social services. This position plays a vital role in fostering inclusive communication and ensuring that language barriers do not hinder access to essential services.
Pay: $20.00 - $70.00 per hour
