Grupo Noa is Looking to add ASL Interpreters for Video Interpretations in the team!
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide ASL interpretation virtually through video conference calls
Interprets for deaf and deaf-blind patients and English speaking health care provider while complying with applicable ethics and standards of ASL interpretation
Interprets in a timely and accurate manner for the consumer/family members in a wide variety of settings
Establishes and maintains quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees.
Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and/or regulatory requirements or policies and standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include mandatory overtime dependent upon business need.
Perform evaluations and meet quality specifications, as requested, and outlined by the Quality Assurance Department

Preferred Qualifications
3 years of relevant interpreting experience
Medical and/or legal interpreting experience

Timings: 9 am to 6 pm EST
You must be certified as a ASL Interpreter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53.00 - $54.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
