AI Language Expert — Portuguese (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for native Portuguese speakers with a background in language teaching or assessment to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Portuguese learners. Your linguistic expertise will directly shape how AI understands, teaches, and communicates in Portuguese — making a real impact on millions of learners worldwide.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated Portuguese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
- Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
- Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
- Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
- Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction
Who You Are
- Native-level proficiency in Portuguese
- Experience teaching Portuguese or evaluating learner language
- Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
- Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
- Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
- Familiarity with regional Portuguese variations (Brazilian, European, etc.)
- Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
