We are looking for a Head of Dubbing Operations to lead, orchestrate, and optimize production workflows in a high-pressure, fast-paced studio environment in Mexico City.
We are seeking a Localization & Post-production heavyweight who thrives at the intersection of creative management, technical strategy, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the entire production pipeline—from initial script adaptation to the final delivery of assets for global OTT platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Production Orchestration: Lead and orchestrate the planning and execution of multiple high-volume dubbing productions simultaneously.
- Global Standards Alignment: Align local production processes with regional/global operational standards and industry best practices (TPN, Security Protocols).
- End-to-End Quality Oversight: Ensure high-quality execution across all stages of the dubbing workflow: Script Adaptation, Casting, Recording, Mixing, QC, and Final Delivery.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Production Managers, Voice Directors, Artistic Talent, and Technical Engineering staff.
- Pipeline Management: Manage studio workflows to ensure maximum efficiency, zero-defect delivery, and strict adherence to turnaround times.
- KPI Analysis: Monitor and analyze operational KPIs related to production timelines, creative quality, and overall project performance.
- Strategic Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for major streaming platforms and studios, managing expectations and shifting production priorities.
- Contractual Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to contractual agreements, technical specs, and specific delivery commitments for international markets.
- Financial Management: Oversee vendor payments and project-related costs, ensuring all operations remain aligned with production budgets.
- Capacity Planning: Manage complex studio scheduling, ensuring optimal use of recording rooms, technical equipment, and talent resources.
- Cost Control & Profitability: Contribute to production budgeting and rigorous cost control to support overall project and studio profitability.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to improve studio productivity, reducing turnaround times without compromising artistic quality.
- Next-Gen Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the integration of automation and AI-enabled localization solutions.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of proven leadership specifically in Dubbing, Localization, or Audiovisual Post-production management.
- Deep Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of the dubbing ecosystem (Lip-sync, ADR, Audio workflows, Pro Tools, Mastering, and QC).
- High-Volume Experience: Proven track record managing complex productions for global streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney+, etc.).
- Senior Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate relationships with clients, high-profile talent, and senior stakeholders.
- Language: Professional English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory for international coordination.
- Systems: Familiarity with Studio Management Software (e.g., Xytech, ScheduALL) and production cost management.
