Role Description
Dantli Corp is seeking Language Interpreters to join our team on-site in Montpelier, VT and surrounding areas. The Interpreter will provide verbal language interpretation services in various settings, including healthcare facilities, government offices, and legal proceedings. Responsibilities include accurately conveying information between parties, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding ethical standards in line with company guidelines. The role may require the ability to quickly adapt to different dialects, terminology, and modes of interpretation as needed, ensuring effective communication.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more target languages and fluency in English, with a strong ability to convey meaning accurately in both languages.
- Experience in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, as well as sight translation.
- Strong interpersonal and cultural competency skills to effectively interact with diverse populations and environments.
- Familiarity with confidentiality practices and ethical standards in interpretation services.
- Ability to work on-site and maintain flexibility in adapting to different work environments and scenarios.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI) or court interpreter certification are strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare, legal, or government interpretation settings is an advantage.
- Experience in interpretation, linguistics, or related field experience preferred.
