Job Summary
Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for the 3-wheeler or 2-wheeler portfolio, translating customer and market insights into clear specifications and a prioritized roadmap.
Role and Responsibilities
- Define and own the 3-wheeler or 2-wheeler product vision, positioning, and multi-year roadmap (cargo/passenger, ICE/EV as applicable) aligned with business unit strategy.
- Lead Voice of Customer activities (fleet operators, drivers, dealers, financing partners) and translate insights into clear value propositions and product requirements for Asia and Africa markets.
- Build product business cases (volume, pricing, margin, cost targets, localization, regulatory) and secure stakeholder alignment through gate reviews.
- Create and manage product specifications and requirement baselines (performance, payload, range, durability, safety, connectivity, serviceability…) and control changes across the program lifecycle.
- Drive cross-functional program execution with Engineering, Industrialization, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, After-Sales, and Sales—ensuring on-time and on-cost delivery.
- Own key trade-offs to optimize reliability, total cost of ownership, and customer experience.
- Support supplier strategy and sourcing decisions (make/buy, localization, cost-down, dual sourcing) in collaboration with Purchasing and Engineering.
- Support the go-to-market: product offering definition, option/variant strategy, documentation, training inputs, and coordination with Sales/Marketing.
- Manage lifecycle performance post-launch: field feedback, warranty and quality monitoring, running changes, cost reduction, and next-generation improvements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical), Industrial Engineering, or Business; Master’s/MBA preferred.
Work Experience: 3+ years in product management/product planning/program management within 3wheelers industry
Language: Fluent English required.

- Strong customer/market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and value proposition definition.
- Ability to translate VOC into measurable requirements (payload, range, durability, safety, service intervals, TCO).
- Product lifecycle ownership: business case, specification, validation gates, launch readiness, and post-launch improvements.
Personal Traits: Structured and data-driven; hands-on and pragmatic; strong stakeholder management; resilient in fast-changing, multicultural environments
