Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Korean to English Interpreter. Responsibilities include providing professional interpretation services between Korean and English in real-time, maintaining accuracy and cultural sensitivity. The interpreter will facilitate communication across various scenarios, including business, healthcare, and other professional settings. Additionally, the role involves maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in both Korean and English with exceptional linguistic and communication skills
- Experience in real-time interpretation, including business, legal, or medical scenarios
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to maintain accuracy in translations
- HIPAA certification or familiarity with confidentiality and privacy regulations is an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
- Proficiency in the use of remote communication tools and technology
- A bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in interpretation or language services will be highly regarded
