The Role in Brief
We are seeking an execution-driven Technical Artworker & Localisation Specialist to drive our global product rollouts. This is a 100% technical production role—there is zero creative design or concepting. You will act as the bridge between translation assets and final print manufacturing, systematically deploying master creative files across dozens of languages while ensuring flawless structural and regional regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Market Localisation: Translate master copy decks and translation matrices into production-ready mechanicals across global SKUs.
- Layout & Typography Adaptation: Manage text expansion (e.g., longer French/German copy) by adjusting tracking, leading, and text boundaries without warping fonts.
- Mechanical Asset Building: Build and update highly precise, layered packaging files across various structural dielines (cutter guides) and substrates.
- Regulatory Compliance: Apply country-specific mandatory packaging elements (ingredient listings, warning labels, barcodes, and symbols).
- Immaculate File Architecture: Maintain structured, layered master files (locking base graphics while seamlessly swapping language layers) to ensure error-free rollouts.
Key Requirements
- The Background: Proven experience as a Technical Artworker, Production Artist, or Prepress Specialist specifically handling packaging mechanicals.
- Localisation Pipeline IQ: Hand-on experience working with high-volume global translation workflows, multi-lingual copy decks, and translation matrices.
- Software & Print Mastery: Expert-level Adobe Illustrator (advanced layers, links, and typesetting) and a strong understanding of print processes (Flexo, Litho, Gravure).
- Precision Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail for managing text flow, hyphenation laws, and interpreting marked-up PDFs.
- Languages: Fluent English required. A second European language (e.g., Dutch, German, French) is a massive asset for regional quality control.
