Now Hiring – Bilingual Construction Site Interpreter (Spanish/English)
Location: Hampton, GA
Starting Pay: $23.00 per Hour
We are seeking a reliable, professional Bilingual Construction Site Interpreter to support communication between English- and Spanish-speaking employees, supervisors, and project management on active commercial construction projects. This is a critical role that helps ensure clear communication, productivity, and a safe work environment.
Schedule
Typical Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours may vary depending on project and client requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide accurate verbal interpretation between English and Spanish for employees, supervisors, and project management
- Translate safety meetings, toolbox talks, work instructions, and daily briefings
- Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and training sessions
- Interpret during meetings involving project managers, safety personnel, and client representatives
- Help communicate project expectations, work assignments, schedule changes, and company policies
- Assist with translating written documents, forms, signage, and safety materials when needed
- Promote effective communication while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Support supervisors with employee questions and conflict resolution
- Assist with general administrative and project support tasks as assigned
- Ensure all communications are translated accurately and impartially
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be fluent in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Be comfortable working in an active commercial construction environment
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Complete all required client and company safety orientation and training
- Work effectively with diverse teams and maintain confidentiality
- Previous construction experience or construction terminology is preferred but not required
