The Action Sports Translator is a leading translation, content and AI integration agency dedicated to the outdoor industry. We help global brands expand internationally through multilingual content, AI-powered localization and a worldwide network of linguists.
We are currently looking for a Freelance localization engineer / Localization programming manager with strong experience using Crowdin, to join our team of project managers.
This is for you if:
→ You have extensive, hands-on experience with Crowdin / Crowdin Enterprise.
→ You're proactive and enjoy problem-solving.
→ You work well independently, but also enjoy working as part of a team alongside other loc engineers and PMs.
→ You are set up as a freelancer and are available to start ASAP.
→ You are based anywhere in Europe or within the GMT/CET/EEST time zones.
→ Ideally you're into outdoor sports, though exceptionally this is not a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
→ Major bonus points if you have experience with complex e-commerce localization and especially Shopify.
We are looking for someone to start with potentially 20-30 hours per week, however the availability needs to be defined. You're flexible and project-based to start with. Involvement varies depending on the phase and projects can run for several weeks/months at a time.
You'll be working with a great team of localization pros, helping some of the biggest outdoor and action sports brands in the world deliver native experiences across languages and markets.
PS. we previously received a lot of applications from translators/linguists and/or project managers who don't have experience with Crowdin.
