Located near Midlothian, IL, this assignment runs from July 6th to July 23rd, with hours scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. As a dedicated 1:1 interpreter for a young learner, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting communication and access to education. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid EIPA score of 4.0 or higher required
- Proven expertise as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in school settings
- Strong command of American Sign Language (ASL) and total communication approaches
- Experience working 1:1 with elementary-age students
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with school staff
- Professionalism and flexibility within fast-paced educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time interpretation for an elementary student during classroom activities and school interactions
