Important information:
Position overview:
The Game Localization QA Tester will work as part of a game testing team to identify and fix issues affecting the localization of the game by making text changes, writing detailed bug reports, performing regression testing, etc. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and linguistic quality of localized content by performing manual testing across various gaming platforms.
Position responsibilities:
Essential skills and experience:
A regular game player and passion for the video games industry.
Native level of Simplified Chinese (China) (testing language), including excellent spelling and grammar.
Good command of the English language and Simplified Chinese (instructions, testing documentation, team communications will all be in English or Simplified Chinese)
Gaming LQA experience.
have Right To Work (RTW) docs to work on-site in one of our office (Shanghai), including Valid Work Permit and etc
A high school diploma or equivalent is required (a degree in computer science, game design, or a related field is a strong plus).
Excellent attention to detail, “can-do” attitude, as well as great work ethic.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize to meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
Understanding of digital technologies (mobile, tablets, browser tools, etc.).
The ability to work well in a team environment.
The drive, positive attitude, and ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative environment.

Game Testing experience.
Long-term freelance cooperation
Experience with software localization or quality assurance, or in a similar role in the Video Games or related industry, will be an advantage.
Familiarity with different testing methodologies.
Experience with game localization.
Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, ADO, Bugzilla, etc.) or CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, etc.).
