Role Description The Spanish Translator role at Home Sweet Home is a remote, contract position focused on providing accurate and culturally appropriate Spanish-language support for the Home Ownership Program. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating educational materials, client communications, and online portal content from English to Spanish, ensuring clarity and consistency with company guidelines. The role may also involve interpreting during virtual client consultations, webinars, or support calls to help Spanish-speaking clients understand loan preparation steps and program resources. The translator collaborates with financial advisers, program coordinators, and other team members to maintain high-quality bilingual content and uphold a professional, respectful tone in all communications.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Spanish Translation and general Translation for written and digital content.
- Candidates should possess skills in English to Spanish language work and Interpreting for live or virtual conversations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with diverse client populations.
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and strong proficiency in English.
- Proven experience translating educational, financial, or real estate-related materials is highly beneficial.
