In this energetic role, you will leverage your multilingual skills to facilitate clear, accurate communication across various settings. Whether interpreting over the phone, translating documents, or providing real-time interpretation services, your expertise will help foster understanding and collaboration in a global environment. Duties
- Provide professional interpretation services through over-the-phone and simultaneous interpretation methods across multiple languages.
- Translate written documents, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and clarity for diverse audiences.
- Conduct educational and cultural interpretation to support learning environments and cross-cultural exchanges.
- Facilitate consecutive interpretation during meetings, conferences, and client interactions with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Utilize your proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) when needed to support communication accessibility.
- Maintain high standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and cultural competency in all interactions.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure seamless communication flow and understanding across language barriers.
Skills
- Multilingual proficiency in English and at least one additional foreign language with strong linguistic capabilities.
- Expertise in interpretation techniques including simultaneous, consecutive, and over-the-phone interpretation.
- Deep understanding of cultural nuances to enhance accuracy and appropriateness of translations and interpretations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively in diverse settings.
- Strong knowledge of translation tools, glossaries, and linguistic best practices.
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to confidentiality in all tasks.
- Experience with educational or medical interpretation is a plus; familiarity with American Sign Language is highly valued.

Pay: $26.01 - $31.32 per hour
