Role Description The Freelance Translator is a Project based remote role. In this role, the translator will adapt scripts, subtitles, and other media-related materials from source languages into target languages while preserving meaning, tone, and style. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting creative briefs, collaborating with producers and editors to ensure culturally accurate translations, and aligning translated content with brand guidelines. The translator will perform quality checks, revise and update translations as needed, and maintain consistency in terminology across projects. The role may also involve working with GenAI tools and internal platforms to optimize workflows and support timely delivery of multilingual content.

Qualifications

Strong bilingual or multilingual proficiency, with the ability to translate written and spoken content accurately between source and target languages.
Experience translating media content such as scripts, subtitles, marketing materials, and educational or corporate communications.
Skill in maintaining tone, style, and cultural relevance while adapting content for diverse audiences.
Ability to collaborate closely with creative, production, and editorial teams in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and relevant target language(s).
