For more than 19 years, I've built and led communications strategies for some of Houston's most prominent institutions — from school districts and universities to municipal government and major engineering firms. I've obtained media coverage, managed crises, trained reluctant executives to face a camera, and told stories that move an audience.
But language has always been more than a professional tool for me. As a licensed Texas court interpreter with a JBCC designation, I've stood in courtrooms where words carry the weight of justice, where a mistranslation isn't a typo, it's a consequence. I believe language access is a right, not a privilege, and I bring that conviction into every interpreting assignment and every communications strategy I lead.
I've trained senior leaders, technical experts, and school principals to communicate with confidence under pressure. I've run a communications firm, managed crisis teams, overseen publications with 70,000+ circulation, and secured placements across print, broadcast, and digital media.
