About
Most French tech companies have localization covered. What they rarely have is a native English speaker who's spent a decade inside their world — editing their content, yes, but also building the glossaries, style guides, QA frameworks, and governance processes that make English quality consistent and scalable long-term.
That's the work I do, and it sits at an intersection that's genuinely hard to fill: native American English precision combined with deep French business culture fluency after 13 years living and working in France. I understand both what your English should sound like — and why French companies so often struggle to get there.
My background is split between two French tech companies. At FizzUp, I was the sole English specialist for five years, translating 310,000+ words FR→EN and building every English content standard from scratch. At BlaBlaCar, I designed and ran systematic QA operations covering 7,915 strings across 14 languages, built three multilingual glossaries totaling 609 terms across 21 languages, and co-developed the company's first cross-functional English content guidelines. My QA implementation rate held at 88.6% over four years; the frameworks I designed earned a 9.75/10 satisfaction score from the linguist team.
What I enjoy most is work that combines linguistic precision with systems thinking — the kind of role where getting the English right matters strategically, not just cosmetically. I'm at my best as a specialist with real ownership: deep focus, high standards, and work that outlasts me.
