Native Tigrinya speaker, bilingual in Amharic, and proficient in English, with experience in translation, checking/editing, and interpretation. I have worked in medical, refugee, social-service, and general communication settings, supporting accurate and culturally sensitive communication between clients and service providers.
I have experience translating English to Tigrinya and English to Amharic documents, including medical forms, consent forms, service-related documents, and general communication materials. I am also familiar with CAT tools such as memoQ WebTrans and SDLXLIFF files.
In addition to my language work, I regularly create and write Tigrinya content online and have written a Tigrinya book, which reflects my strong passion for language, culture, and clear communication.
