Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Freelance Interpreter in the Seoul Incheon Metropolitan Area. The role involves providing accurate, culturally sensitive interpretation services across diverse language pairs for a variety of business meetings, conferences, and interactions. The interpreter must be prepared to facilitate effective communication on-site, ensuring mutual understanding between clients and local counterparts. This role also involves adhering to professional standards and maintaining confidentiality during all assignments.

Qualifications

Proficiency in at least one language pair, including fluency in spoken and written forms
Expertise in on-site interpretation for business meetings, conferences, and professional interactions
Strong cross-cultural communication skills and understanding of cultural nuances
Ability to maintain professional conduct, uphold confidentiality, and manage time effectively
Professional certification in interpretation or related fields is highly advantageous
Previous experience in interpretation or translation is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with industry-specific terminology in sectors such as business, legal, or healthcare is a plus
