Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Freelance Interpreter in the Seoul Incheon Metropolitan Area. The role involves providing accurate, culturally sensitive interpretation services across diverse language pairs for a variety of business meetings, conferences, and interactions. The interpreter must be prepared to facilitate effective communication on-site, ensuring mutual understanding between clients and local counterparts. This role also involves adhering to professional standards and maintaining confidentiality during all assignments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one language pair, including fluency in spoken and written forms
- Expertise in on-site interpretation for business meetings, conferences, and professional interactions
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills and understanding of cultural nuances
- Ability to maintain professional conduct, uphold confidentiality, and manage time effectively
- Professional certification in interpretation or related fields is highly advantageous
- Previous experience in interpretation or translation is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology in sectors such as business, legal, or healthcare is a plus
