Role Overview
Working within the Audio team, the Audio Engineer role is focused on the creation, localisation and mixing of audio for film and entertainment marketing campaigns, including television, trailers, promos, radio and digital content distributed worldwide.
In this role, you will manage audio workflows across multiple projects, taking ownership of sessions from preparation through to final delivery, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within required timelines.
The role builds on strong technical knowledge of Pro Tools and a solid understanding of audio post-production workflows, with continued development of expertise across tools, formats and delivery requirements.
You will play an important role in localisation and international versioning workflows, ensuring all deliverables meet creative, technical and compliance standards across multiple platforms and territories.
Main Responsibilities
- Mixing and localising TV spots, trailers, promos, radio and theatrical materials for multiple territories and digital platforms.
- Preparing, organising and managing Pro Tools sessions for mixing and localisation workflows.
- Carrying out audio conforming and session updates in response to picture changes.
- Editing dialogue, music and effects within Pro Tools sessions to a high standard.
- Preparing and delivering audio stems, M&E tracks and alternate versions for international distribution.
- Managing the creation and delivery of international audio versions and language deliverables.
- Performing technical and creative quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet required standards and specifications.
- Ensuring sync, audio levels, formatting and loudness compliance prior to delivery.
- Exporting and delivering audio for broadcast, theatrical and digital platforms.
- Managing and organising audio assets, sessions and project files within company systems.
- Maintaining consistent file structures, naming conventions and version control across projects.
- Working closely with Producers, Editors and other departments to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Supporting junior team members where required, providing guidance on workflows and processes.
- Assisting with the setup and management of complex Pro Tools sessions and mixing environments.
- Maintaining audio workstations, plug-ins and studio equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Working within a secure studio environment on confidential and embargoed pre-release client content, adhering to all company security protocols.
- Keeping up to date with industry tools, workflows and best practices within audio post-production.
- Supporting the Head of Audio on ad hoc projects and departmental requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in audio post-production, ideally within a film, trailer, broadcast or agency environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Pro Tools.
- Basic understanding of 5.1 and surround mixing.
- Basic VO recording and editing knowledge.
- Solid understanding of audio post-production workflows, localisation and international versioning.
- Experience mixing and delivering audio for a range of formats including broadcast, digital and theatrical.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced post-production environment.
- Respectful of the confidential nature of the work produced by PPC.

This position is based in our Beverly Hills office and the salary for this role is up to $25.49 per hour. Actual amounts will vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and performance. Please note that this is a non-exempt position. As a non-exempt employee, this role is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and California labor laws.
