We are seeking a European Portuguese (Portugal) Data Linguist to support AI and Large Language Model (LLM) development. This role combines linguistic expertise with technical skills in Python, regular expressions, and language data processing.

Important: We are specifically seeking speakers of European Portuguese (Portugal). Candidates whose language is Brazilian Portuguese will not be considered.
Responsabilidades
- Analyze and process large language datasets.
- Develop and maintain linguistic rules using Regular Expressions (Regex).
- Support AI and Large Language Model (LLM) data development.
- Read and modify Python scripts for data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional AI and engineering teams.
- Review linguistic quality and dialect-specific language usage.
- Adapt quickly to evolving AI workflows and data requirements.
Qualificações
- Fluency in European Portuguese (Portugal).
- Strong understanding of dialectal differences.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience using Regular Expressions (Regex).
- Familiarity with NLP, AI, Machine Learning, or LLMs.
- Ability to manipulate language datasets.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Habilidades Necessárias
- Experience with data annotation or AI language projects.
- Computational Linguistics or Linguistics background.
- Experience with Git, Jupyter Notebooks, or command-line tools.
