Foreign Language On-Site Freelance Interpreters – In-Person, Buffalo, NY
Language Talent Pool is assisting one of our client agencies in recruiting experienced medical interpreters for in-person freelance assignments in the Buffalo, New York area.
This is not a position with Language Talent Pool directly. We are sourcing candidates on behalf of a well-respected interpreting agency known for treating its interpreters fairly and providing ongoing support and training opportunities.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Position Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
Languages Needed:
Arabic, Amharic, Bengali, Burmese, Cantonese, Dari, French, French Canadian, German, Gujarati, Haitian-Creole, Hindi, Hmong, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Laotian, Mandarin, Nepali, Pashto, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Rohingya, Romanian, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Swahili, Tagalog, Tigrinya, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese
Position Overview:
Interpreters will be assigned to various in-person interpreting assignments in:
- Healthcare

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous community interpreting experience preferred
- Fluency in English and at least one of the languages listed above
- Commitment to professionalism and interpreter ethics
- Reliable transportation and availability for in-person work in the Buffalo, New York area
