Senior Computational Linguist

Preply is hiring a Senior Computational Linguist to formalize linguistic phenomena into rules, taxonomies, annotation criteria, and model requirements for language-learning products. The role designs and evaluates prompts and other AI components, builds representative datasets and annotation guidelines, investigates model quality issues, and collaborates with engineers, product managers, learning designers, and computational linguists. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in computational linguistics or NLP, hands-on LLM evaluation and prompt-design experience, Python proficiency, and strong knowledge of datasets, annotation workflows, and quality assurance.
