Translator (Japanese-English)

Aston Carter is seeking a Japanese-English translator and interpreter for a permanent, full-time position supporting an onsite manufacturing operation in Celina, Ohio.

Role

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Japanese and English.
• Translate manufacturing, technical, business, and legal documents.
• Support Japanese expatriates, safety training, meetings, and administrative communication.
• Help teams communicate accurately across operational and cultural contexts.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese and English.
• Associate or bachelor degree preferred, or at least one year of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing terminology experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
