Hiring: Korean–English Interpreter

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Korean–English Interpreter to support a fast-paced consulting engagement in South Korea. This role is critical in enabling seamless communication between Korean-speaking stakeholders and English-speaking consultants.
The ideal candidate will bring strong linguistic expertise, business communication proficiency, and the ability to operate effectively within high-pressure consulting environments.
Key Responsibilities
Interpretation
- Provide real-time consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during:
- Client meetings
- Workshops and interviews
- Presentations and executive briefings
Translation Support
- Deliver high-quality translation of business materials, including:
- Reports and presentations
- Emails and correspondence
- Data summaries and meeting documents
Communication & Cultural Expertise
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and contextual meaning in all interpretations
- Bridge cultural gaps by explaining business etiquette and local nuances
- Provide ongoing linguistic support to consulting teams
Collaboration
- Prepare with teams in advance by reviewing:
- Terminology
- Context
- Meeting objectives
Confidentiality
- Maintain strict professional discretion and data confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Korean and English
- Proven experience in business or corporate interpretation
- Strong command of business terminology and professional communication
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and verbal delivery skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
