Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and culturally aware Game Localization Translator/Reviewer (Korean ↔ English) who will handle the translation, review, and quality assurance of in-game and service-related content for our global game projects.
This position requires near-native proficiency in both English and Korean, strong cultural awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a Korean-speaking, on-site work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Translate and review a wide range of game-related text (in-game UI/UX, marketing materials, announcements, etc.) between English and Korean
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, tone consistency, and cultural appropriateness across all localized content
- Support the English Team’s live operations by handling translation and review tasks as needed for global service operations
- Manage and review outsourced translation work, providing feedback and quality assurance
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain terminology guides, style consistency, and translation quality standards
Qualifications:
[Required]
- Near-Native proficiency in both English and Korean, with excellent translation and writing skills
- Deep understanding of games and gaming culture, as well as familiarity with various media (IT, broadcasting, webtoons, web novels, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple translation tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, etc.)
- Familiarity with CAT tools and terminology management systems
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a Korean-speaking, on-site work environment
- (For male Korean nationals) Completion of mandatory military service or exemption, and no restrictions on overseas travel
- (For non-Korean nationals) Eligible to work in Korea, or able to obtain the appropriate work visa (E-7 or equivalent), F-2 visa holders are preferred
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Korea and able to obtain an appropriate work visa

- Experience living or working in English-speaking countries
- Prior experience in game localization or game translation projects
- Experience translating content in IT, webtoons, broadcasting, or other cultural content fields
- Additional language proficiency beyond English and Korean
- Experience in technical writing or copywriting (in either Korean or English)
